That last part is where most telehealth builds quietly fail; the video works fine in the demo, and then six months later a nurse is retyping visit summaries because nobody scoped the documentation handoff. We build these as native mobile apps, web apps, or both, backed by the same FHIR-based data layer we use for every project, so a telehealth visit is just another encounter type in your existing clinical record — not a separate system somebody has to reconcile by hand every night.

A question worth asking early

Does the app need to work on a patient's five-year-old phone?

Almost certainly, yes — and it's the assumption that breaks the most telehealth launches. Patient-facing telehealth apps get used on whatever hardware a patient already owns, not the flagship device a demo was built on, which means graceful fallback for weak connections, older OS versions, and low-bandwidth video matters more than any single feature. We build and test against that reality instead of a best-case device, and default to a browser-based visit option alongside any native app so a patient never has to download something new just to be seen.
